Student poster prize win for Kelsey Kennedy at this year’s Gordon Research Conference

Congratulations to Kelsey Kennedy for winning one of ten student poster prizes at the 2014 Gordon Research Conference on Lasers in Medicine & Biology.

Kelsey has recently submitted her PhD at OBEL, on developing optical coherence elastography (OCE). Her poster covered the recent work on OCE for providing mechanical contrast in human breast tissue.

The Gordon Research Conference has been ongoing since the 1960s, and has always had a strong medical orientation.
