Sharks Solution Prize – GovHack2016

OBEL PhD student, Philip Wijesinghe, along with Austin Shen (OBEL ex- undergraduate student), in a team of 4, won the Sharks Solution Prize – one of the major WA state prizes at GovHack2016 – a national government-sponsored data-driven hackathon.

OBEL graduate, Kelsey Kennedy, inspiring more young women to study engineering

“An innovative and interactive digital campaign aimed at breaking down the stereotypes associated with engineering and encouraging more young women to study engineering was launched on 15 July 2016 by the Group of Eight (GO8) universities and Engineers Australia, featuring the music of contemporary artists, NERVO.
